Road Safety for Better Logistics
Logistics industry, especially logistics Indonesia, has many challenges that must be faced by the government, entrepreneurs, transporters and other related parties. One of the challenges that still requires a lot of attention is road safety. Many cases of accidents that arise due to lack of attention to road safety.
Based on this condition, Truku Indonesia wants to contribute to road safety by holding an event entitled “Road Safety for Better Logistics” by inviting experts in the field of supply chain and road safety.
The event, which was held on October 20, 2022, invited Prof. I Nyoman Pujawan, Ph.D, CSCP, CSCA, CPLM (Professor of Supply Chain Engineering at ITS) and Ir. Gamadjaja Julianto, MM (Former of Indonesia Road Safety Improvement Project Head PT. Holcim Indonesia, Tbk.).
Prof. Nyoman explained how the logistics industry, safety issues that exist in various countries including Indonesia, how the safety regulations in Indonesia, the application of technology that can be used to improve road safety in Indonesia.
Meanwhile, the material presented by Pak Gama (Ir Gamadjaja's nickname) was entitled Reasoning Road Safety Implementation. He explained the reasons why road safety is very important and why all parties should pay more attention to road safety. He also provided solutions and strategies for companies to improve the quality of road safety logistics operations.
Truku Indonesia's product manager, David Ardian, explained Truku's experience as a company solution in increasing operational effectiveness while increasing safety in logistics operations.
This event was also supported by Truku Indonesia's partners, Telkom University and Teltonika Telematics. Teltonika also explained about some products that can be used to prevent vehicle accidents and can be integrated with solutions from Truku Indonesia.
More than 200 participants registered and took part in the event. The enthusiasm of the participants was seen by the many questions asked to the speakers.
